Frequently Asked Questions

When does the hotel day begin and end?

The hotel day starts at 4:00 PM (16:00) and ends at 11:00 AM.

What is the minimum length of stay?

The minimum length of stay is 2 nights.

Can I bring my dog/cat?

Unfortunately, no. Due to the presence of wild animals in the forest and our farm animals, as well as the characteristics of the cottages and surroundings, we cannot accept pets. Our interiors are a safe option for allergy sufferers, so we cannot make any exceptions.

What should I bring?

In consideration of the comfort of our guests and the cleanliness of the cottages, we walk inside without shoes. We recommend bringing your favorite slippers or socks, and in the colder months, warm socks. In the summer, be sure to bring swimwear, sunglasses, and beach towels as there are beautiful lakes in the Land of the Elbląg Canal! Wellington boots, raincoats, flashlights, or headlamps might also come in handy for communing with nature in all conditions.

Please do not bring: coffee, tea, coffee creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, dishwashing liquid, soap, toilet paper, or hairdryers – you will find them in the cottage 🙂

How to get to us and what transportation to use?
  • By car, motorcycle, or bicycle: Convenient access from the S7 road is our advantage. From Warsaw, it’s 235 km (a little over 2 hours), and from Gdańsk, it’s 110 km (about 1 hour). Since there is no house number in our address, the easiest way is to enter “Dziki Las Liksajny” into Google Maps navigation, which will lead you to our property’s parking. Please note that the last stretch of road, about 200 meters, is a country dirt road – unpaved, and during heavy rains, you should be prepared for a few puddles and mud to pass through.
  • By plane: The nearest airport is Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, which is about 43 km away from us.
  • By bus/train: The PKS and PKP station is located in Ostróda, which is about 20 km away. From there, you can take a bus to the stop in Liksajny.

If you encounter any problems getting here, give us a call, and we’ll be happy to guide you over the phone and assist you.
